The concept for the onedotzero ‘adventures in motion’ festival identity was to harness online conversations stimulated by onedotzero’s global community, uniting these to create the identity itself. Specially produced generative software creates a ‘living’ identity, from which all visual communication is born. It can be ‘paused’ to create print assets or ‘recorded’ to create film assets. It also ran ‘live’ as a 50m interactive digital installation for the launch at the BFI Southbank. The open source software is freely available to download and adapt. As a result, the identity continues to evolve for the duration of the festival’s international tour.

After Ethel and I shot the image for the Addict colab last year, we (that’s me, Ethel and Eloise from Addict) were asked to contribute to a forthcoming book on Street Art by Ric Blackshaw and Liz Farrelly. It’s good to be invited to contribute, even though I wouldn’t say this co-lab was specifically related to street art as such. I’m a big fan of Liz’s books and who would knock a chance to talk about work? So, I got my copy through a while back and just got around to posting – now that the site has stopped impersonating a yoyo. Click below to read the accompanying short interview…

One of the best things about NBFG is that we get to pay homage to some all-time female hero’s. First with the battle shirt and then last year we produced this tee of London’s own Cookie Crew – the UK’s most notorious rap duo from the eighties and early nineties. Through this I also got the opportunity to meet up with Remedee aka Debbie Pryce, to chat about the London scene in back in the day and of course get my original school wax signed. The interview appeared on notbadforagirl.com for a short while, but now thanks to Jee-Nice there’s gonna be another chance to read it in the forthcoming edition of Anattitude Magazine. Sweet!

Our favourite jewellery guru from Melbourne Hayley Mei launched her new line of goodies including the pendant above, with this cover image featuring the NBFG x Addict co-lab piece. Later I was checking out Hayleys blog The Mayoress and I found this one too (below).
